有樂壇教父美譽的 Uncle Ray，於2023年1月13日下午在中大醫院辭世，享年98歲。

Uncle Ray，原名Reinaldo Maria CORDEIRO，中文名字郭利民，是健力士世界紀錄「全球持續主持電台節目最長久的DJ」(The World's Most Durable DJ) 保持者（由2000年至今），一生奉獻廣播界及香港樂壇，影響深遠，建樹良多。

Uncle Ray在香港電台英文台主持《All The Way with Ray》節目超越半世紀，風雨不改，深受聽眾喜愛，聲名遠播。1997年獲香港電台授予「終身成就獎」。

Uncle Ray曾獲英女皇頒授MBE勳章（1987）、特區政府分別在2008年頒授銅紫荊星章及2022年頒授銀紫荊星章、香港演藝學院2012年頒授榮譽院士，以及中文大學2022年頒授社會科學系榮譽博士。

The "Godfather of Pop Music", Reinaldo Maria Cordeiro, widely known as "Uncle Ray", passed away at hospital on January 13, 2023, aged 98.

Hosting his legendary longest-running show "All the way with Ray" for over half a century at RTHK Radio 3, Uncle Ray was recognized by the Guinness World Records as "The World's Most Durable DJ" since 2000.

With his unfailing zeal and lifelong dedication, Uncle Ray made significant contributions and impact to the broadcasting and music industry in Hong Kong with high regard. He was honoured with numerous awards over the years, including bestowed with the honour of MBE (Member of the Order of the British Empire) in 1987, RTHK Lifetime Achievement Award in 1997, a Bronze Bauhinia Star in 2008, and the Silver Bauhinia Star in 2022. Uncle Ray was also presented with an award of Honorary Fellow of the Hong Kong Academy of Performing Arts in 2012, and Doctor of Social Science, honoris causa,of the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2022 for his outstanding accomplishments.
