A winner of the UBS OSC NGO Leadership Programme, Enrich has developed the project “Debt Recovery Programme for Migrant Domestic Workers.” This new pilot programme, delivered once every quarter, aims to provide 200 domestic workers with wealth management guidance in English, Tagalog and Bahasa Indonesian through group workshops and one-to-one support.

Domestic workers who complete the programme will be equipped with a personal debt repayment plan with clear goals and a timeline to become debt-free. They will walk away confidently with tools to help them avoid debt traps in the future.

“Debt Recovery Programme for Migrant Domestic Workers” 為EnrichHK推出的先導計劃。這個項目是UBS OSC NGO Leadership Programme另一得獎項目。計劃旨在為200名面對財富管理問題的外傭提供協助。計劃透過小組及個人工作坊教授參與者一些基本技巧,設定理財目標並避免陷入財富陷阱,而工作坊將以多種語言(英語,塔加路語和印尼語)進行。計劃完成後,參與者將能制定個人債務償還方案,還清債務。

HandsOn HK
牽手

HandsOn HK is an organisation with the mission of empowering everyone in Hong Kong to volunteer. ‘Care Delivered’ is a programme drawn up by HandsOn HK to supply care packages to the most vulnerable groups in Hong Kong who have been severely impacted by COVID-19. Collaborating with 7 charities in food assistance and other volunteers, HandsOn HK will provide the needy with one-year meal packages. In view of the challenge in food delivery, HandsOn HK will mobilise volunteers in the dispatch of the relief packages. This allows under-resourced charities to solicit manpower and resources from HandsOn HK.

HandsOn HK believes that participation in local relief efforts during this unprecedented crisis will empower volunteers to help the community.

「牽手」是一個推廣義務工作的組織。 “Care Delivered”是他們其中一項計劃,旨在為在港受新冠肺炎疫情影響的弱勢群體提供護理服務。「牽手」將與7個食物援助慈善機構和其他義工合作,為貧困人士提供長達一年的食物援助。面對運送食物的挑戰,「牽手」將動員義工們幫忙運送救援物資,同時為資源不足的慈善機構提供足夠人力和資源。

「牽手」於這場史無前例的疫情中參與本地的救援工作,讓義工發揮所長,積極爲社區提供幫助。

J Life Foundation Limited
啟愛共融社區中心

J Life Foundation Limited is a charitable organisation with three main objectives: Feed the poor, Educate the next generations, and encourage recipients to Help others to help themselves. Since its foundation, the charity has served over 1,000 poverty-stricken families by sending them surplus food from chain stores every day and opening up education opportunities to people of all ages. As a token of thanks, members are motivated to give back, sharing with others life-transforming experiences as benefited individuals and leading a happier and more meaningful life.

Funded by OSC, ‘J Life @ Fighting COVID-19’ will offer day-to-day household support and subsidies, including delivery of food packs and 3-month electricity bill subsidies, to 200 4-people low-income families residing in subdivided units in town. Also, a disadvantaged community member will be hired by the foundation as a staff member of the Community Resource Platform to monitor the food wholesale prices among stores and organise the bulk purchase.

啟愛共融社區中心是一個慈善組織,其宗旨有三:養活窮困人士、教育下一代和鼓勵受助者幫助他人自助。自成立以來,這慈善機構為超過1,000個貧困家庭提供服務,包括每天把連鎖店的過剩食物送給他們,並向不同年齡人士提供教育機會。受益者的生活得以改善,他們為了表達謝意及積極回饋,更與他人分享改變人生的經歷。

由愛心聖誕大行動資助的「啓愛與你同心抗疫」計劃將向200個居住在劏房的4人低收入家庭提供日常家居支援和資助,包括送遞食品包和3個月的電費補貼。除此以外,基金亦將會被用作僱用一位弱勢人士作為社區資源平台的職員,負責市場價格調查及採購。

受惠人數:800名
(大約200個4人家庭和1名兼職員工)

The founder of of J Life Foundation Elli Fu says their new project will supply food packs and essential pandemic supplies to 500 families living in subdivided flats, and these families will also receive subsidies for their electricity bills. 智樂兒童遊樂協會

Playright aims at building a society which respects, protects and fulfils children’s right to play. In the hope of creating free play for children and equipping adults with knowledge of children’s play, the charity is committed to arranging a variety of play services for children in schools and communities, taking care of hospitalised children in the prevention of emotional scars and providing relevant professional training.

The OSC-funded project, Community Engagement and Empowerment for Play Space Transformation Project creates a child-friendly and adult-empowering environment. Activities such as training workshops, overseas field trips and pop-up events will be held to build a ‘Playful City’.

(75 community members, 100 professionals, government officials, NGOs, and the general public, and 100 families)

智樂兒童遊樂協會旨在建立一個尊重、保護、實踐兒童遊戲權利的社會。為了給兒童提供自由遊戲的機會,協會安排各種遊戲服務予學校和社區中的兒童參與,並為住院病童提供適切服務以照顧他們的情感和遊戲需要。協會亦提供相關的專業培訓,提升成年人對兒童自由遊戲的認知,建立「好玩城市」。

「愛心聖誕大行動」的善款會支持他們推行"Community Engagement and Empowerment for Play Space Transformation"計劃,此計劃將舉辦各種活動,例如培訓工作坊,海外實地考察和快閃活動等,以擴大社區內的公共遊戲空間、鼓勵市民積極參與兒童遊戲服務,及支持對兒童和兒童遊戲友好的組織。

受惠人數:275個單位(75個社區成員,100個專業人士、政府官員、非政府組織和公眾人士,100個家庭)

Advocating a harmonious and caring society, Wofoo Social Enterprises (WSE) joins with a variety of social groups to come up with ideas for better distribution of resources in society.

With the intention of raising awareness about compulsive hoarding behaviour (CHB), public educational activities will be run under ‘Simple Living’ - a programme of WSE which will attend to the compulsive hoarding problem in Hong Kong. It is their plan to educate the public on CHB and advise them self-help methods to reduce hoarding at home. WSE will look after households who need assistance through their house-tidying services. For mild cases, the foundation will declutter the house and recycle the extras for the service unit; for severe cases, the institution will also train victims on CHB and ways to alleviate their situation, making the project multi-directional and purposeful.

No. of Beneficiaries: 970 adults aged 18-40

和富社會企業(WSE) 推崇和諧、關愛的精神,致力和各界團體合作,促進社會資源分配。

為了讓社會更了解囤積症(CHB),WSE將推行“Simple Living”計劃,透過公共教育活動提高大眾對囤積症的認識。WSE為大眾提供方法改善家中囤積的情況,亦會幫助有需要家庭整理房屋。WSE會協助受影響家庭整理房屋及回收多餘物品。如果個案比較嚴重,WSE更會提供CHB培訓,教育他們如何減輕囤積情況,務求使計劃更全面有效。
