Reverse mentoring

 

大學也好、大企業也好，由前輩提攜後輩的「師友計劃」非常普遍。不過，英國有公司卻反其道而行，師友易位，讓small potato 拉經理甚至總裁一把！

In reverse mentoring, the traditional roles are switched: A younger individual mentors an older, more experienced mentee.

lord sth over sbd 對某人作威作福、在某人面前擺架子

Lord 作名詞有「主人」、「領主」、或者尊稱「大人」之意。添加一 over 在後，就有「對某人作威作福、在某人面前擺架子」的意思！

 

例子：Some employers fear that overly confident millennials may lord their technology skills over executives they’re mentoring and make them feel like digital dinosaurs.

 

intimidated 膽怯的、畏縮的
