Syrian Civil War

 

敘利亞內戰經年不絕，除了令大批難民流離失所，蜂擁到歐洲尋求庇護，更對中東古都造成不可挽回的破壞。究竟這場災劫緣何而生？聯合國又能否周旋其中，扭轉局面？

IDIOM

It never rains but it pours.

「不雨則已，一雨傾盆」，形容壞事不來則已，一來則不止。It never rains but it pours 和中國成語裏的「禍不單行」意思一樣。

例子：First of all it was the fire in the kitchen, then the car breaking down. It never rains but it pours!

例子：I missed my train this morning, lost my wallet and spilt coffee all over myself; it never rains but it pours.
