Elite super tutor

Globally, the private tuition industry is booming. One forecast says it will be worth $227bn by 2022, fuelled by growth in Asia and developments in online tutoring, like firms connecting students with tutors all over the world. The industry is largely unregulated and there are all kinds of providers: freelancers, cram schools, large chains, online services, bespoke agencies and more.

A Song For You – “No Child Left Behind” by Edward J Hines (2006)

Song to protest the Federal No Child Left Behind legislation

Once we were teachers, now we're just testers,

Feedin' all the kids the party line.

Talk about the scariest one of all called,

No Child Left Behind.

No Child Left Behind

Seems like a waste to me

No child left with their mommy or their daddy

They're all flyin' over the sea.

The American Dream turns into a scheme

When kids 'buy it' on the front line,

Givin' it up in the name of freedom

No Child Left Behind.

{…} Kids started droppin' out of school like flies...

While all the politicians laugh,

'Cause they knew the whole thing was a pack of lies

A way to get another draft
