Erik Erikson on the sense of identity

 

In the social jungle of human existence, there is no feeling of being alive without a sense of identity.

Erik Erikson 是德裔美籍發展心理學家與心理分析學者，以心理社會發展理論著稱。認同危機（identity crisis）一詞乃由他創造。他並沒有學士學歷，但仍以教授身分，於哈佛大學與耶魯大學等任教。
